Teens Trans*cending

Are you a Trans, Nonbinary, or gender non-conforming teen wanting to connect with others your age who understand what it’s like to be Trans in the south?

Teens Trans*cending provides an affirming support space for teens navigating life as Trans in Tennessee.

The group is about connection among participants, offering support for members to share their experiences, explore their gender, and gain insight into how being Trans influences their life as a teen.

Nat will lead the group through discussion, creative activities, and building a space of community that encourages self-discovery, connection, and sharing coping skills that make navigating life as a Trans teen in Tennessee a bit easier.

Offered online only. Currently enrolling participants ages 14-18.

Trans* is used in our group name to indicate we are using Transgender or Trans to refer to people who fall under the broad umbrella of having a gender identity that is not the same or not fully captured by their sex assigned at birth. This can include identities such as Transmasc, Transfemme, Trans man, Trans woman, Nonbinary, Agender, Bigender, Genderqueer, Genderfluid, etc.,. It could also mean one does not label themself or is exploring their gender!
